London’s own post punk band Warmduscher released the charged and passionate Too Cold to Hold after much anticipation from fans. The new album experiments and takes art punk to an entirely new level with winding and twisting instrumentation that carries the listener through a plethora of influences for an entirely novel listen.

Half·Alive – Persona
Long Beach’s indie rock trio Half Alive released their energetic album Persona to streaming platforms this Friday. Persona features soaring vocals courtesy of a passionate performance throughout by Josh Taylor. The entire album is littered with carefully crafted instrumental pieces and effective hooks resulting in many ear-worms that you simply won’t want to turn off.

Glassmanet – Flow EP
Glassmanet specializes in psychedelic dream pop and entirely does so with impressive authority on their newest release Flow. Flow features groovy and dreamy experimentation throughout with soft yet driving vocals as icing on the cake. The new EP is only four songs in length but leaves a lasting impression.

Beach Bums – IRL
Los Angeles based Beach Bums dropped their brand new album IRL this past Tuesday. IRL is a must for fans of surf inspired lo-fi indie rock. The way Beach Bums manages to thread cathartic and ethereal themes into short yet infectious tracks throughout IRL is nothing short of impressive. Don’t sleep on this one if you’re a fan of that DIY ethic.

Portland’s bedroom pop project Bathrobe released Scary Movies through DIY label Spirit Goth Records. The new five track EP very much feels like an exploration of the versatility of expression that can be done in the realm of dream pop and shoegaze while retaining raw emotive expression. This release will definitely have you exploring more of Bathrobe’s discography.
