Boeckner Shares First Single “Lose” With Music Video, Announces Boeckner! Album

Canadian indie stalwart Boeckner, now based in New Orleans released his first single Lose to social media and streaming platforms on January 17th, 2024. Dan Boeckner’s storied career with Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs, Divine Fits and more shines through on the brand new debut single with haunting synth, overpowering guitar work and so much more. Lose is the first track and debut single on the upcoming album Boeckner! which is set to release on March 15th, 2024 via Sub Pop.

Lose does well to pair Boeckner’s unmistakable vocal talent with crashing guitars, driving synths and infectious drumming. The new track is available to stream on Apple Music, Spotify and more here. Boeckner! is available for preorder on the official bandcamp page as a limited tangerine, loser edition vinyl. Boeckner! is set to be Dan Boeckner’s debut effort under his own name.

While Boeckner is not currenting touring it would be wise to keep an eye on his official bandcamp for additional dates in the near future given the gravity of this full length release. Boeckner’s last work with Wolf Parade produced the full length Thin Mind which saw release in January of 2020.
