Chemtrails Share Single “Bang Bang” From Coming Album The Joy Of Sects

Manchester’s Chemtrails shared their newest single Bang Bang to social media and streaming platforms on January 9th, 2024. Bang Bang is the second song off of their upcoming album The Joy Of Sects which is set for a January 19th release date through Sweden’s PNKSLM recordings. Bang Bang toes the line between defiantly crafted power pop and mind bending garage rock – offering new and seasoned listeners alike a fresh taste of what’s to come from the band.

Bang Bang is available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music and more here. The new album is also available as a preorder through bandcamp as a stunning limited edition splatter vinyl.

The new album marks the third of their career and notably has signaled a detour into a more hi-fidelity sound through a new creative approach to recording and execution. Chemtrails are scheduled to begin touring again on February 3rd, 2024 in Oxford, UK with additional dates and locations available on their bandcamp. The Joy Of Sects follows up their 2020 release of their well-received psychedelic infused power-pop album The Peculiar Smell Of The Inevitable.
