Kim Deal – Nobody Loves You More
Kim Deal has had a storied career that’s lasted for over four decades now. Kim Deal, maybe best known for work with Pixies and The Breeders released her first proper solo album Nobody Loves You More this Friday. Kim previously released a 7 inch vinyl series with 10 songs back in 2013. The debut release pulls heavily from Kim’s experience living in the Florida keys which remains evident throughout the album and on tracks such as Summerland.

Father John Misty – Mahashmashana
Father John Misty dropped his sixth full length album Mahashmashana. The new album which features a title pulled from a Bruce Wagner novel that roughly translates to “great cremation ground” acts to tie together esoteric themes of life and death. Mahashmashana is a pivot in style from previous releases, instead concentrating on orchestral songwriting that pulls heavily from 70s rock acts.

Dean & Britta & Sonic Boom – A Peace Of Us
The trio work to produce an awe inspiring Christmas album filtered through the lens of careful 60s pop sensibilities. A Peace Of Us is a festive celebration of the season with occasional somber yet warm themes peppered throughout. Britta has described the album as similar to Bing Crosby, but on acid.

Say Lou Lou – Dust
Moody and awe inspiring indie pop out of Stockholm. The sister duo Say Lou Lou released their third full length Dust to streaming platforms and social media this Friday. The new album sheds their electro-pop roots for harmonious compositions and relaxed structure.

Sophie And Me – Petricor
Sophie And Me’s Petricor is a love letter to shoegaze and dream pop with sweeping instrumentation and passionate execution all around. The duo dream big on this release as emissaries of the cathartic and ethereal throughout. The collaborative effort by Javi from the Canary Islands and Sophie of Montreal dropped this Friday.
Heavy Moss – Dead Slow
Heavy Moss’s debut release Dead Slow is littered with lush psychedelic composition that presents unexpected twists and turns. The album pulls heavily from acts such as My Morning Jacket, Real Estate and The Flaming lips with enthralling and woozy pop sensibilities abound.
