The Last Dinner Party Drops Single “The Scythe” Along With Music Video From Upcoming Sophomore Full-Length “From The Pyre”

London’s lush indie rock quintet The Last Dinner Party released a second single The Scythe from their newly announced sophomore full-length effort From the Pyre. The new track posted to social media and YouTube as the clock rolled over to Friday September 5th, 2025. From the Pyre will see a full release this coming October 17th, 2025.

The brand new single came accompanied with a cryptic music video directed by Fiona Jane Burgess. Previously The Last Dinner Party released the single This is the Killer Speaking which features as the fourth track on the ten track work. The new album From the Pyre is currently available for pre-order as a cassette, compact disc and special edition vinyl record here.

Pre-orders from their official store before 10am BST on September 8th open up first dibs on pre-sale tickets for their 2025/2026 headline tour. The Last Dinner Party will be kicking their tour off on September 26th in Washington D.C. with subsequent dates stretching through into 2026 in Europe, Australia and the United States.
