Jonathan Bree Releases New Music Video For “Politics”

Goth pop and longtime indie musician Jonathan Bree posted a new music video for the song Politics on his Lil’ Chief Records YouTube page earlier today. The track Politics is one from his latest album Pre-Code Hollywood which released back in mid April, 2023 to positive reception from fans and critics alike. The Auckland, New Zealand musician features in the video with his white mask and dog perusing the beach and driving- matching the songs lyrical content well.

Jonathan Bree is one of the founders of New Zealand based Lil’ Chief Records which was founded back in 2002 making their YouTube channel the obvious choice for the drop. Jonathan Bree is currently touring after the release of Pre-Code Hollywood and is set to begin tour dates in the U.S. beginning in August, 2023. You can check for a show near you on his bandcamp and pick up the album on vinyl in a limited opaque white while you’re at it.
