J Mascis Shares Single “Right Behind You” With Music Video From Upcoming Album What Do We Do Now

J Mascis, who is best known for his work as songwriter, singer and guitarist for the legendary indie rock band Dinosaur Jr shared the brand new single Right Behind You off of his highly anticipated solo album What Do We Do Now on January 11th, 2024. Right Behind You is the third single released from the new album and will act as the third track overall for the new work. The new album, What Do We Do Now is set to release on February 2nd, 2024 through Sub Pop Records.

Throughout Right Behind You J Mascis’ lends his unmistakable vocals which range from invigorating to downtrodden in their visceral feel. This coupled with the beautiful meld of drumming, guitar work, piano ends up resulting in such a substantial piece of art for the ears that lifts the listener up to its conclusion. J Mascis’ new album What Do We Do Now is currently available to pre-add on Apple Music and Spotify here. The new single Right Behind You follows both single releases for Can’t Believe We’re Here and Set Me Down.
