Flat Worms Release Single “Time Warp In Exile” With Music Video, Announce New Album Witness Marks

The Los Angeles garage punk super-group Flat Worms released their single Time Warp In Exile to streaming platforms on June 28th, 2023 via God? Records. A music video accompanied the new single and posted to the Drag City YouTube channel on Wednesday. The charged post punk single came accompanied with the announcement of Flat Worms new album Witness Marks with a release of date set to excite fans new and old alike on September 22nd, 2023. The highly anticipated Witness Marks will be the third full length release by Flat Worms to date and follows up their sophomore piece Antarctica which saw a release in April of 2020.

The new music video was notably produced in conjunction with the well known garage rock revivalist Ty Segall who Flat Worms bassist Tim Hellman has performed with over the years. Their 2019 Into the Iris EP was also recorded by Ty Segall, marking his first official foray with the band. The new single is one of forthright and unapologetic punk rock ferocity, with commentary on the new album to be mainly situated around the critique of the social experiment we all participate in. We’re certainly excited about how that comes to fruition as we hear more.
