Drahla Releases Single “Default Parody” With Music Video, Announces Upcoming Album Angeltape
Leeds’ art-rock staples Drahla released their brand new single Default Parody to streaming platforms and social media on January 23rd, 2024. The new single came accompanied by a music video produced by Luciel Brown and Rob Riggs which posted to YouTube early on Tuesday. Default Parody is the first scorching single from their newly announced album angeltape which is due out on April 5th, 2024 via Captured Tracks.
Default Parody is a fiery track, featuring pointed vocals and intense instrumentation throughout that sits unapologetically in the post punk space. The brand new song is available to stream on Apple Music, Spotify and more here. Angeltape is available as a physical pre-order as both a compact disc and vinyl in a limited opal glass.
Angeltape will mark their sophomore effort, following up their debut full length Useless Coordinates which saw release back in May of 2019. Drahla are scheduled to begin touring on May 4th, 2024 in Brussels with additional dates through mid-June available on their official bandcamp.
