Bambara Drops Single “Pray To Me” With Music Video, Announces Upcoming Album “Birthmarks”

Brooklyn’s post punk trio Bambara dropped their debut single Pray to Me with a music video on Monday November 25th, 2024. The new single came accompanied with a brand new music video directed by William Hart. Pray to Me will act as the fourth track on the band’s much anticipated forthcoming studio album Birthmarks which is set to release on March 14th, 2025 via Bella Union and Wharf Cat.

Pray to Me builds slowly into an ensemble of pointed drumming, ethereal guitar work and swelling bass. The new material features appearances by Jummy Aremu on vocals and Marilu Donovan on harp. The upcoming album Birthmarks is available for pre-order as vinyl in a stunning limited edition violet cloud with a limited zine on the official bandcamp or through Wharf Cat Records here. This edition is hand numbered to 100.

Bambara last released their full length Stray in February of 2020, making the announcement of Birthmarks long awaited by enthusiastic fans. The trio are scheduled to begin touring on April 16th, 2025 at Stereolux in Nantes, France with additional dates going forward throughout Europe.
