Current Joys Release New Track “My Shadow Life” With Oddbody On Upcoming Album LOVE + POP

This morning Nick Rattigan’s long-time indie pop project Current Joys released the single My Shadow Life along with a music video. The new track My Shadow Life features Oddbody and is expected to be the fourth track on the highly anticipated album LOVE + POP which is set for an August 4th, 2023 release date via Secretly Canadian. The new single marks their second for the album and follows up the first single LOVE + POP with YOUR ANGEL which saw a release on June 22nd.

The new album LOVE + POP is said to have been entirely recorded at home, following the DIY ethos Rattigan has been known for with Current Joys. The new track My Shadow Life is balmy and quiet compared to the first single, taking a more serious tone and subsequently a lower sublime tempo. The new single does well to show that the album will likely welcome variance in styling with many collaborations- including Your Angel, Lil Yatchty, Brutus VIII and Oddbody.
